Description
Julie Marie Hansen is a Danish artist currently living in the Blue Mountains. Julie is from a creative family and has been practicing creativity her whole life. She recently discovered alcohol ink which has transformed her painting practice. She is fascinated with the range and depth of the colours the ink can offer and how uncontrollable it can be. She likes to experiment with colours and often get inspired by her surroundings, both in Denmark as well as Australia. “Sometimes the pieces have been created with something specific in mind other times the pieces are created through intuition. They all have one thing in common: their colourful representations of the nature that surrounds me.”
